Impact of pupil premium 2023/2024

  • Through targeted investment the school has been able to maintain high-quality teaching and sustained positive outcomes for all students through the provision of:

  • a discrete team of work experience coordinators to ensure our careers programme supports all students to develop aspirations and opportunities for employment in the future

  • Investment in our Parent Support team and Behaviour Support Leads, which has supported families and staff to identify causes of behaviour, which we believe has a direct correlation to attainment for our students.

  • support through Emotional Literacy Support Assistants (ELSA), Drama Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, and Complementary Therapy, ensuring that, where possible, all students received support to minimise anxiety, with an outlet for expressing their feelings.

  • an outdoor learning team who provide a valuable opportunity to learn, transfer skills, practice communication, develop practical skills, and gain the opportunity for independence and self-help. Many students found it difficult to access the community safely, and we were fortunate that we could use our grounds to enhance personal development skills.
